I’ve always known I wanted to be in the restaurant business. It wasn’t something I stumbled into — it’s been a part of me since I was a kid.

Back in Mexico, I spent countless hours in the kitchen with my mom. Whether I was peeling potatoes or helping her make fresh tortillas from scratch, I was always involved. I didn’t realize it at the time, but that’s where my passion for cooking was born. It wasn’t just about the food — it was about the work, the care, and the connection that came with it. When I moved to California, that fire only grew stronger. Surrounded by a vibrant food scene, I knew that’s where I wanted to be. I didn’t just want to cook — I wanted to create something of my own.

So, I took a leap and enrolled at Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena. Culinary school gave me the tools, techniques, and discipline I needed — but the real foundation had already been laid years earlier, in that small kitchen beside my mom. Opening my own restaurant wasn’t just about chasing a dream. It was about honoring my roots and creating something meaningful. Every dish on the menu has a story. It’s influenced by my heritage, my training, and every step of the journey that brought me here.
